On a cold and blustery day in Dundee, I joined the annual May Day march through the city centre streets to Albert Square for a rally. The march and rally were organised by Dundee Trades' Council. Secretary of the Trades' Council, Mike Arnott, introduced the speakers at the rally (Mike is featured in the picture - centre beside the statue) who emphasised the importance of solidarity; especially when and where public services are under threat.
