Grove Academy’s Spring Fayre will be held on Saturday 26th April 2014 from 10:30am – 2:30pm.
Stalls will include: Cake and Candy, Beat the Goalie; Bouncy Castle and Soak the Teacher. A fun day out for all the family.
Tickets cost £3.00 for adults, £1.50 for children and concessions and under-fives go free!
Proceeds form the Fayre will go towards Grove's World Challenge Teams and their expedition to Kenya in June, where they will be undertaking projects with Grove's exchange partner school in Meru.
This Saturday, 8 June 2013, Forthill Primary School will be holding their Summer Fayre. They invite us to come along and support their major fundraising and fun event.
There will be a great range of stalls and activities including face painting, an inflatable assault course, games and much more.
Tea and coffee will be served. Cost £2/£1. All welcome.
Yesterday evening I attended a most enjoyable fundraising event at The Friary in aid of Barnardos Scotland. The evening was organised by teachers and pupils at Baldragon Academy who raised over £2000 for the charity. It was good to see school staff, pupils and their families turn out to support the charity. Baldragon pupils and former pupils provided a good part of the entertainment. which included sets from the Baldragon Soul Band and the Baldragon Big Band.
