Fifteen photographs of Broughty Ferry feature on a new website Britain from Above 1913-59. These are part of The Aerofilms Collection. This is a unique archive of photographs taken from the air between 1919 and 2006. This collection presents a fascinating insight into the changing face of Britain in the last century.
Most of the original photographs were taken by aircraft flying at low altitudes which we would now think was dangerous or irresponsible.
